According to legend, this tavern in the heart of the Jewish Quarter, a few meters from the Mosque-Cathedral of Cordoba, was the product of a chance encounter between a seductive glass of Montilla-Moriles fino wine and a lonely tapa of Pedroches Iberian ham, who fell in love and lost their way looking for a quiet place to spend some time together.
