In 2018, and on the occasion of the commemoration of the XX Anniversary of the creation of the Roman Bética Route (RUBERO), which brings together 12 Andalusian municipalities that run along the Vía Augusta, an extensive program of activities was carried out. In the city of Cordoba, they wanted to take advantage of this event to create an exciting project under the name of Kalendas in Cordvba, which has continued to be held in subsequent years with great success. With this project promoted by the Cordoba City Council, it is intended to value art, culture, heritage and Roman society. The Romans called the first day of each month Kalendas and their year lasted only 10 months.
