All that remains of the former Franciscan convent of San Pedro el Real is this cloister, which has been turned into a public square. The fountain was built in 1983 in García Rueda’s workshop, in a neoclassical style, modelled on a 19th century engraving by Parcerisa. During the Festival of the Crosses in May, it is tastefully decorated with flowers, adding an even greater appeal to this attractive square.
