The Andalusian Centre for Contemporary Creation (C3A) is a building used for contemporary art and creation, where artists bring their projects to life, researching, experimenting, creating their works and displaying them in exhibitions. It doubles up as a meeting place and a forum for inter-disciplinary dialogue, a centre for basic and specialized training and a venue for citizen participation.
One of the main purposes of the C3A is to bring contemporary art closer to the public, by displaying not only the finished works, but also the creative process. To achieve this, a program of exhibitions, activities, workshops, etc. are organised, aimed at audiences of all ages and covering a wide range of artistic genres: visual and audio-visual arts, drama, dance or contemporary circus.
The mission of the C3A is to become a cultural reference for artistic creation and production in Andalusia. To do this, there are workshops for visual creation and audio-visual labs, areas for interaction between different disciplines, particularly in the area of live arts, as well as exhibition halls and presentation rooms. There is also a specialized documentation centre for artists which is open to the public.
